Snow not any better over in La Plagne and Les Arc with lots of stones about on the pistes but a good day out of resort anyway. The huge double decker, glass cable car linking the resorts is a great trip high up over the valley floor - not for the faint hearted. Took us a while to get the hang of the automated turnstiles at each lift, the lift pass uses a radio technology to automatically open the gate as you approach. Rumour has it the system is to be introduced to the Three Valleys for next Winter. Some unusual piste signs too "Sheet of Ground" for example - see pic below.
