Cold or What?
Minus 17C at the top of the Peclet Funitel over in Val Thorens this afternoon – truly a bit nippy, and far too cold to think about taking cameras out of pockets. Great skiing day despite the cold and some wild winds on the sumits – superb pistes and even the black dropping down in to VT was smooth with lovely grippy snow. Today’s day must be dedicated to the person who invented hands free lift passes – you really didn’t want to take your gloves off today…
Another day of great skiing in prospect
After yesterdays mild excursion it’s a 4 Valleys run out today. Minus 10 overnight in La Tania overnight so it’s gonna be cold up there. A few bad heads this morning too, Bring Your Sisters rocked La Taiga last night – Ski Lodge on Tuesday night should be a good one…
LdV / Taiga Opening…
LdV opened Tue night with a massive session. Bring your Sisters were playing joined by cameo apperances by Mikey Gray and Fourplay. Oh and of course T Wall jamming on the horn (who damaged his knee dancing behind the bar). The Toffee vodka was flowing as per usual. Now on to the Taiga opening tonight again with Bring your Sisters and Mikey Gray. Restaurant opening on Friday. – Mini. LDV OPENING PICS HERE
