The Perfect Day? The sun comes after the storm… More snow tomorrow though!

Snow Snow Snow!

There’s snow right down to Bozel at the bottom of the valley and up to 40cm reported on the summits so far (by the lift company as all the top lifts are currently closed). More snow due later this afternoon and tonight with temperatures staying well below zero. Hopefully a break in the weather tomorrow but avalanche clearance work will mean delayed lift openings and closures tomorrow. Avalanche risks at least 4 out of 5 so avoid any serious off piste for the moment – those in the know will be tackling Jockeys first lift tomorrow…. You know who you are….

Heavy snow fall now, set to continue tonight & tomorrow. Could be transfer hell tomorrow…. But then freshies on Sunday! More snow Monday…

It’s dumping down!!! Set to continue for a couple of days too, should be episodic (as Bull Manson would say) when the weather clears…

Purely Belter of a Day….

Weather closing in once again tonight – so make the most of this sun….

Fresh snow at last, 8 cms yesterday and 23 today.

The lower bench in the photo is the fresh from last night, the table show accumulates snow from Jan, the left half of the OMI has been cleared for lunch……

Now some clear blue skies to be seen….

Have it, (cheap deals possible for 1st and 8th feb still………)
