After the (unofficial) Bouc Blanc Races last weekend some of the finely tuned La Tania athletes entered the La Praz 5km race. Andrea finished 2nd in the females, John Broadbent won his age category and John Machin & Phil also ran. John Machin’s kids entered the kids event with his daughter being the first girl in her age group too. Thanks to Andrea of Snow Retreat for the pic.

Bouc Blanc Race – 2 August 2009

> Although the Bouc Blanc race was officially cancelled, cos of the
> weather (or timing gear missing) several La Tania locals still did

La Tania locals (Nick and Joey (Nickski), Jenna (Come Ski), John (3 Valley Transfers), Robbie, Neil (Alpine Escape) and 2 friends (big helmets) toured the 3 Valleys on mountain bikes today:

La Tania Gondola, over to 1850

Verdons and Saulire, down to Motteret then Meribel

Tougnette 1 & 2, down to top of Saint Martin bubble

Saint Martin Chair, down to Les Menuires for a butty

Roc de 3 Marches Bubble, down to top Saint Martin bubble

Saint Martin Chair, down to Meribel

Tougnette 1, down to Motteret

Pas de Lac to mid station, round the mountain back to La Tania……beers
