Over 100 lifts in 3V open this morning…
Over 100 lifts open across The 3 Valleys this morning and the temperature has dropped to below zero in La Tania for the first time in a week.
A first time beginners area is being created in La Tania by snow cannons but any skiing lower down than the Gondola will have to wait until a more prolonged cold spell.

Temperatures are set to rise over the next few days so no chance of more snow cannon action lower down.
More positive is the outlook from Boxing Day for temperatures to turn colder and for unsettled weather and the chance of snow to return. Still a bit far out but GFS models at least agreeing on a change in the weather patterns.
