Last Weekend +1 .. . It was a Big One!
The unofficial re-union weekend kicking off on Friday night there's Kirsty's Giant Tartiflette at La Saucisse from 6pm plus there's Fish n Chips at the Ski Lodge. Saturday night sees another Summer gig from Bring Your Sisters playing live at The Ski Lodge, plus it's the Summer Ski Jumping World Cup at the Le Praz Olympic Ski Jump all weekend (it's even more mad landing on astroturf!) plus an Air Display with loads of aerial tricks - Party down there on Fri night with a French Led Zep tribute band in the beer tent and lots of fireworks. It's the big Méribel Street Sale on Sunday with plenty of ski kit bargains to be had and also the Fête des Bûcherons in La Tania, with The Lumberjack Championships - various wood cutting competitions going on through the day - that's pretty mad too! Gondola is open Sunday - it's free!

La Tania Gondola is FREE this Summer! Open Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday
Rumours of a "Pay As You Go" lift pass for next Winter too - charged on what you use on a points based system. More details when we hear, but seems a logical step forward after the introduction of 3 hour passes last season and you've always been able to buy individual rides on lifts from the pass office (like skiing back from Méribel Village for €13 rather than a €23 Three Valleys Upgrade).
Good news for those without a season pass from the Winter - due to the building work around the Gondola station it will be FREE to all hikers, bikers and lunchers at the Bouc Blanc right through Summer!

Ski Lodge Now Open For Summer
Pub Le Ski Lodge in La Tania is now open for the Summer Season. They'll be open all day for Summer during July and August except Tuesday when they open at 4pm. As usual it's Moules & Frites night on Thursday and the original Alpine Fish n Chips on Friday!
