After 3 days of winds poor visibility and about 40cms of snow (and presumably lots of day time drinking for the holidaymakers due to the bad weather) the skies finally cleared above Val Thorens today and we were on one of the first lifts.

The deep snow was above about 2400mtrs. As you can see the snow cover is still very good probably the best all season. We had fresh tracks all over the place - definitely the last days skiing until November for us, have a good summer everyone!

PS Already used 20 litres of paint and just bought 15 of varnish so it is not all play.
