Euro 2020: England v Denmark

After a stunning free kick from Mikkel Damsgaard on the half hour it looked like the dream could be put on hold but 9 minutes later Stirling was involved in bundling the ball over the line (later given as an OG) after tremendous work from Saka getting around the back and putting the ball across the six yard box.

Cue more crazy scenes at Wembley…

After a second half where both teams had chances but England looked the strongest we headed for extra time. More English chances and then a soft but VAR’d penalty award when stirling went down easily – but was clipped. Harry Kane’s poor penalty was saved by Schmeichel who attempted to catch the ball but it bounced back to Kane who slotted it home.

Pandemonium…

Game managed out with some great possession – even the Olés started. Final Whistle, 3 Lions, Sweet Caroline etc and partying in to the early hours….. Roll on Sunday, tickets confirmed!
