Nick Ski Report from first day – 4th Valley obviously!
Nick Ski sends us the opening day report and pics
08:40 and many gathering for the first lift this morning and at the top of Bouc Blanc we were greeted with a few inches of fresh snow.
We headed to VT via Motterat and Cote Brune and a cup of coffee in the 4th Valley.
Headed home via Les Menuires and Venturion.
Good natural snow cover above about 2200m and cannoned snow lower down – good for the time of year and Folyères open back to La Tania.
Chilly in Val Thorens and a pretty average start I’d say, although normally this week we’d be driving to Le Praz or 1850 so it’s great to have La Tania open.
A new cover over the Bouquetin Funitel (now named 3 Vallées Funitel) in Val Thorens – missing from the What’s New Page!
