Les Menuires & Saint Martin: What Has Changed on the 2027 Piste Map?
We’ve compared the 2026 and 2027 Les Menuires and Saint Martin de Belleville piste maps. The biggest visible change is at Riondaz, while a tiny new symbol above Roc 1 points to a useful addition for beginners.
There are also three newly printed piste names, some changes around the resort centre and a magic carpet replacement that the map alone would be very easy to miss. Here’s what has changed for winter 2026/27.
Riondaz: the orange Liberty Ride area disappears
On the 2026 map, Riondaz is highlighted as an orange Liberty Ride zone below Tougnète, alongside the Saint Martin Express sector. On the 2027 edition, the orange shading and Liberty Ride logo have gone. In their place is a black piste line labelled Riondaz.

Evons is newly labelled near the top of the Saint Martin sector, on the short red connection between the upper blue route towards Jérusalem and Pramint. That red line was already drawn on the 2026 map; the addition here is the name.
A free magic carpet at the top of Roc 1
Look closely beside the Roc 1 top station and there is a new short black lift line with a pink star on the 2027 map. In the legend, that star means a free lift. No lift name is printed beside this new symbol.

Les Menuires confirms a new beginner area at the top of the Roc 1 gondola, equipped with a free-access magic carpet. It gives learners somewhere to practise short descents before moving on to the wider ski area.
Chasse and Montaulever: clearer names on existing links
Two routes on the Val Thorens side of the map gain labels for 2027. Chasse is printed on the red connection heading towards Boulevard Cumin and the onward route to Val Thorens via the Plan de l’Eau chairlift. The red connection and the onward-direction note were already present in 2026; the name is new to this map.
Montaulever is added to the blue route approaching Val Thorens above Boulevard des Échauds. Again, the blue line is already there on the older edition.
Changes around La Montagnette and the resort centre
The yellow Ski & Fun shading around La Montagnette extends farther down towards La Croisette on the 2027 drawing. The restaurant and toilet symbols in that area are repositioned too. Official winter news separately confirms new features in the La Montagnette and Pixel Area fun zones, although these maps do not identify the individual additions.
Ticket-office symbols have been revised, with more information added to the centre-station inset. These help locate facilities; they do not by themselves establish that each marked office is newly opened. The Preyerand lift label is also repositioned, without a clear change to its mapped alignment.
Saint Martin’s Biolley 2 carpet is being replaced
There is another confirmed beginner-lift improvement at Saint Martin: Biolley 2 is being replaced with a modern magic carpet.
