Storm over The Alps
Huge amount of precipitation over the Alps but falling as rain under 2000m as warm southern air comes up from Africa. Cooler air by midweek but we’re very fortunate that a decent substantial base got established in the first couple of weeks. The compressed snow not suffering too much from the rain.
