Escapade in a Day update #1 (Fail)
A valiant attempt at the new 2016 escapade in a day.
Mark Hambling, Willie Brierley, Stuart James and Steve Slater started at 9-06 from La Tania and despite breakdown of the Montaulever drag managed to navigate their intended course and returned later to complete the now repaired drag!
Unfortunately when they got to Mont Vallon they found that the lift had been out of action all day! Somewhat dejected they completed the rest of the route and arrived back in La Tania at 16:25 having effectively completed the old escapade…
Almost 90 miles covered (including 36 lifts). Other stats and graphs can be accessed in Strava. Another attempt will be made before long – Average age is 60!
