Ex La Tania band Sunset Sons – The last intimate gig?

image

Great night tonight with our competition winners at the Sunset Sons gig at Red Gallery in Hoxton, London.

Very interesting and talented support acts including part of The Beach – reminded me of seeing a young Ed Sheeran playing in a small tent at a festival a few years ago…

The event was all running a little late but no one cared once Sunset Sons took over and played a solid set with a couple of new tunes including the melodic Bright Lights in between the soon to be classics Come Easy, Medecine, She Wants and Remember before finishing with the anthemic On The Road (available now) to finish.

Supporting Imagine Dragons across Europe and playing the O2 in London tomorrow with a European wide headline tour announced today to go with the debut album Very Rarely Say Die, it was great to see the lads in a really small venue tonight – could this be there last intimate gig?????

PS. Good to see Geordie Jed refreshed with beer – far too many plastic water bottles on stage I thought….
