The difference 2 hours make… People book holidays on the strength of this!

The heavy rain low down turned to snow this morning, within a couple of hours everything was white in La Tania. Forecast for cold weather and snow for the next couple of days too.

Monday 5th December. Return of the OMT.

Softly softly we begin. The Official Measuring Table has amassed one point five cms of snow this morning. Long life to the snow.

Nickski Snow Report Courchevel Opening Day

A front moved in over night giving a dusting of snow in Courchevel 1850 and poor visibility this morning. As predicted only the Verdons lift and piste opened however the cannoned snow was nicely groomed and grippy. Very quiet this morning and on the first bubble. Some large piles of snow around ready for pisting. If the forecast is correct it should be possible for a link from Col de la Loze to 1850 via Loze and return via Cretes and Arolles next weekend. I expect that we will have to download on the La Tania gondola. No a classic start but at least its a start. NICK www.nickskithreevalleys.co.uk

Very limited opening over in Courchevel 1850 today – maybe only Verdons will run. The piste completed yesterday with canonned snow. Some snow high up overnight and looking pretty grim up there. So maybe more later.

The snow is coming though… Most models showing front coming through Sunday night / Monday with what looks like a decent snowfall. Everything crossed….
