21st SUMMER SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP From Thursday 11/08/11 to Friday 12/08/11

World Class amazing ski jumping on to plastic grass and Live music with Willy Dugarte & Fuzz plus DJ Charly in the Beer Tent

Ski jump Olympic site in Le Praz, Courchevel 1300 – Free entry

Thursday
From 12.00pm: Air show, children entertainments, bouncy castles, ball pond, virtual ski jumping competition on the WII, music, bar, food from the local area.
4.00pm: Official training – K120.
6.00pm: First competition round – K120.
In the evening: DJ music.

Friday
From 11.00pm: Air show with the French aerobatics team of the French air force, L-39 Albatros, Pitts S-2B, Hawker Sea Fury, Stearman, Edge 540, Yak-3…
From 12.00pm: Children entertainments, bouncy castles, ball pond, virtual ski jumping competition on the Wii, falconery show, bar, food from the local area…
1.30pm: Young French Cup trial jump K25.
2.15pm: First competition – Young French Cup K25.
3.00pm: Final Young French Cup K25.
5.00pm: Trial Jump K120.
6.00pm: First competition round K120.
7.00pm: Final K120.
7.45pm: Prize giving ceremony.
8.00pm: Live concert with the bands “Willy Dugarte” and “Fuzz”.
00.30am: DJ Charly & La Voix du Bonheur.

Snow Cannons planned for Creux at last? Some work going on

Thanks to Nick and Joey at Nick Ski for spotting the JCB at work on Creux. Could it be snow cannons going in (certainly gets plenty of sun so could do with them)? Or maybe some reshaping / drainage / anti-erosion work.

The Cheerleaders are playing and surfing around Hossegor and have been playing T. Walls new place, Le Deck on a Thursday down the road in Cap Breton.

Sam Burrows is currently down that way so there’s a chance he may pick up some gigs.

Meanwhile Adam from Les Trois Tetes is playing around Tarifa on the Southern tip of Spain and The Juke Box Mamas are tearing all over Europe picking up speeding tickets playing various weddings and parties.

Finally ex Shibboleth member George continues to play with Bjorn Again on a seemingly never ending tour while Graham continues to promote his album Curious Bullets in and around Munich. And anyone remember George’s mate James Maddock who played with him in La Tania back in 2005? Well looks like he’s beginning to make a name for himself over in the States currently touring in New Jersey and New York promoting his new album Wake Up And Dream. And of course The Feeling are touring the UK in September and October promoting their new album Together We Were Made.
