A massive well done to the nutters who hiked (or skinned) UP to Col de La Loze (that's the top of the 4-man chair, the highest point visible straight above La Tania) and walked (and skied down) from Val Thorens!
Col de La Loze Hike
Mel and Ferg from Ski Deep , Tony from Family Friendly Skiing, big Steve from Three Valley Transfers, 60 year old Rob Bone from Hotel Telemark and "Crazy Durch Guy" Eric Sweens did it 4 times, Ant (FFS) twice, Kate (FFS) one and a half times and T Wall of Pub Le Ski Lodge once.
Val Thorens Hike
The walk from Val Thorens back to La Tania was via Les Menuires, Mont de la Chambre, Mottaret, Saulire, 1850 and Chenus. Congratulations to curry powered Sanjhi from Extreme Cuisine, Martin & Dan from Hotel Telemark and chef Collsy - so next time you miss that last lift on a Three Valleys day out, there is an alternative to taxis back....
