Darwin Airline anounce flights to Geneva from Cambridge beginning in September
In time for next Winter ski season, Swiss regional carrier Darwin Airline announced that Cambridge Airport would be its first base in the UK, when it launches flights to Amsterdam, Geneva, Milan and Paris from the beginning of September using one of the airline’s 50-seat Saab 2000s.

La Tania veterans The Derby Barmy Army in John OGroats to Lands End Bike Ride
Familiar to many in La Tania, the lads from Derby who visit LT every year (including Roger & Andy who have an apartment here) are attempting to cycle from John OGroats to Lands End in 9 days (approx 110 miles per day).
More famous for skiing in onesies, penguin suits or black tie and running up legendary bar tabs than for their physical fitness, it looks like some challenge (and yes, they are pictured outside a pub).
They’re raising money for the Derbyshire Childrens Holiday Centre http://www.dchc.org.uk which provides children who for a variety of reasons would have no chance of a holiday.
