The Visibility is back, sun & fresh snow – being spoilt now
The Visibility is back, sun & fresh snow – being spoilt now. Higher lifts should be open today and a fantastic day in prospect with blue skies, fresh powder and absolutely no one around…. Warming up considerably from tomorrow so this really is the final throw of the fantastic Winter Season 2011/2012.

Despite the La Tania lifts being closed for the season I got the bus down to le Praz at 08:25 linking to the bus up to 1850. Yet another fabulous powder day, 20cm plus at the top. Played around Plantrey chair lift and Loze drags all morning. Higher up lifts were closed for avalanche blasting and poor viz at the top. First down Jean Blanc and returned to La Tania via the trees. First Lift for the last time (until the next time) #PowderDay
Lift opened at least 10 minutes early for the first time I know of…. Real first tracks, see you at 9am in the “queue”. Last blast of powder for the season!
The last piste bashing of La Tania – and Folyeres still magnificent…
For the first time ever in the history of La Tania, the beginners track on the right hand side of Troika is complete and being pisted right up until the final day of the season…Skiing down at 5pm tonight top to bottom Bouc Blanc and Folyeres absolutely stunning – hardly been skied today, groomed corduroy at the sides of the piste. 1650 slopes today also fantastic and no one about…
