Notice to the population of Perrière and Saint Bon
The first public meeting will be held at La Perrière at 7pm on Tuesday 7th June 2016.
As you already know we are at the beginning of the merger between our two towns and resorts (Saint Bon / Courchevel and La Perrière / La Tania).
To do this we must find a common name:
To help you to vote, the following recommendations of the Mayors of France Association are made:
The new name is for all interests:
– To take the name of one of the founding communities,
– To rely on the name of the town with greater tourist or cultural visibility,
– Or simply to refer to a geographical feature of the region concerned.
Here are the two options proposed:
“Courchevel” or “Courchevel – La Tania”

La première réunion publique va se tenir demain à la Perrière à 19h.
Comme vous le savez déjà nous sommes à l’aube de la fusion entre nos 2 communes et stations (Saint Bon/Courchevel et La Perrière/La Tania).
Pour se faire il faut trouver un nom commun:
Afin de vous aider à vous prononcer voici les recommandations de l’Association des Maires de France:
« Le nouveau nom a tout intérêt :
– à reprendre le nom de l’une des communes fondatrices,
– à s’appuyer sur le nom de la commune ayant une visibilité touristique ou culturelle plus marquée,
– ou plus simplement à faire référence à une caractéristique géographique de la région concernée. »
