Following our animated differences to the 3 Valleys and Courchevel / La Tania piste maps for 2016 we reckon there are 6 new pistes marked as well as 3 new lifts (or even 5 if you count second stages and magic carpets).
All the new developments, news etc will be in our comprehensive What’s New in The 3 Valleys later this month.
Top of the list must be Lory coming down from the Thorens Funitel to Orelle in an often skied off piste area.
Then there’s the new Chasse piste linking the bottom of the Val Thorens area from the Les Menuires side to Plan de l’Eau
Over in Les Menuires there’s work at the top of La Masse so blue run skiers can enjoy the summit on the Bouquetin and Choucas pistes.
In the centre of Les Menuires there are improvements for beginners with the new green piste specifically marked out now – The Montagnettes Piste.
Mottaret has the new 2 stage Combes lift with the Little Himalaya beginners piste and Arolles beginners lift.
Finally Courchevel has the return of Plan du Vah down to the road (and bus stop) up to 1850.
