{"id":95,"date":"2008-01-22T11:16:00","date_gmt":"2008-01-22T09:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.latania.co.uk\/b\/?p=95"},"modified":"2008-01-22T11:16:00","modified_gmt":"2008-01-22T09:16:00","slug":"escapade-in-a-day-update-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.latania.co.uk\/blog\/2008\/01\/22\/escapade-in-a-day-update-2008\/","title":{"rendered":"Escapade (in a day) Update 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seems this is being renamed the Salomon X-Wing Discovery rather than the Escapade and is to only have 10 check points rather than the original 14 &#8211; and as no trip to the top of La Masse or the 4th Valley is required it&#8217;s fairly easy for a decent intermediate skier to complete in a day.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not sure why the changes have happened yet, but we&#8217;ll still compete on the original course (photos and\/or GPS data required for verification of the 4 remaining check points).<\/p>\n<p>In any case the record time of 7 hours 34 mins is set to be smashed this week.
