Building work has continued apace all Summer on the development on the far side of the gondola as you enter the resort from Le Praz with the first part of the roof now being installed.

A 4 Star Hotel, 80 luxury apartments, pool\/spa complex and commercial units are promised for an initial phase opening in December 2025 with a total of 500 beds reported by the Mairie in September 2023. Still a lot of work to do and a huge amount of earth to shift from the red piste (or they’ll have no view!).<\/p>\n\n\n

Work on the new car park is still on-going too as it would appear a toilet and shower block are being constructed. The waste disposal unit is now complete and many camper vans were already using this parking area this Summer (without charge).

We noticed a CCTV camera now installed – nice for additional security but also no doubt for monitoring stays and for charging vehicle owners – no details of this yet although some season worker spaces are expected. <\/p>\n\n\n
