Confirmation this week of 3 Valleys Charity Day Headliners for 2017 Gentleman’s Dub Club<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Radio 1 & 2 DJ and BBC TV Presenter Jo Whiley will be hosting and DJing at the event with all our favourite Alpine Bands playing all afternoon plus outdoor bars, BBQ & food stands, the dance Tent DJs, VIP Champagne area, raffle, auctions, fancy dress and The Kids Zone. 3 Valleys Charity Day 2017 will be held on Wednesday 12 April 2017, once again in M\u00e9ribel Village. <\/p>\n

This is at Easter this year with Good Friday on 14 April so get booking and let’s beat that \u20ac40,000 raised for UK & French charities at the 2016 event.<\/p>\n

Gentleman\u2019s Dub Club<\/strong>
\nFormed in 2006 and now celebrating their tenth year as a nine-piece, Gentleman\u2019s Dub Club initially came together as a dub band, having been inspired by the scene in Leeds. Merging together dub, ska, reggae and electronic influences, it didn\u2019t take long for the infectious sounds of GDC to become widespread, with their debut EP \u2018Members Only\u2019 taking the number one spot on the iTunes Reggae charts and getting radio love and support from David Rodigan.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Open Your Eyes\u2019 EP (2012) saw the group\u2019s iconic \u2018High Grade\u2019 single gain cult status, and following on from this came their first album \u2018FOURtyFOUR\u2019. <\/p>\n

With their reputation taking a strong hold, Gentleman\u2019s Dub Club racked up additional, prolific Radio 1 support, backed P Money in a BBC Maida Vale session for Mistajam and begin notching up countless live shows with their unshakeable energy. <\/p>\n

To date, the band have played numerous international festivals, including Sierra Nevada World Festival (USA), Glastonbury and Secret Garden Party (UK), Outlook Festival (Croatia), Summer Jam (Germany) and Ostroda Reggae Festival (Poland), reaching more than 40 appearance a year.<\/p>\n

Their second album \u2018The Big Smoke\u2019 landed late in 2015 on US label Easy Star, with them performing excerpts for David Rodigan back at Maida Vale. The distinctive, creatively charged sounds of the Club have hit over 3 million YouTube plays and inspired remixes from Prince Fatty, Nextmen and Manasseh, whilst they have taken tunes from the likes of London Elektricity and Alex Clare to put their own spin on.<\/p>\n
