And it’s started snowing!

More beautiful sunshine, but weather due to change soon.

Another Perfect Day

Cloudless blue skies once again but looks like a change coming on Christmas Day afternoon. Clouds set to return but temps dropping too and the chance of some snow by the weekend.

Pistes remain in good shape with just about everything open. The odd stone on exposed areas but generally everything very good.

Cloudless Blue Sunny Skies….
Gorgeous weather and superb piste conditions. Some icy, hard pack areas with the odd stone about on heavy traffic areas and late in the day on shaded areas but generally spot on skiing and riding in the sun (still cold too!).

And superb piste skiing Tuesday. More snow Tue night / Wed morning!

Great Piste Skiing

So the snow didn't arrive in the quantities we expected and the really strong winds have stripped lots of the exposed off piste but with the sunshine just breaking through today and still the high lifts off because of the wind we saw some superb piste skiing.

The runs down Chenus to 1550 were simply perfect corduroy and very, very quiet – great for fast, wide carving. La Tania Bouc Blanc and Folyeres were also in brilliant condition, groomed and very quiet. We also headed down Brigues, the red run down to Le Praz – although officially closed it was groomed most of the way down and another terrific run.

Those who were out today have stopped moaning now – another great day on the mountains…..
