Snow Tomorrow Night?
The sunny days and cold weather continue although there a few clouds coming over and a chance of some snow by tomorrow night – not a major dump though. Pistes generally becoming harder now and some stones about, it’s worth checking out the S3V grooming lists (print outs at the major lift stations) to find the freshly groomed pistes for the best runs.

Freshies! A covering of fresh snow overnight, nothing massive but should improve the pistes well. A beautiful New Years Day, Happy 2009!

1st Old Gits / F&F / Old School Meet

The Old School Down at La Boulotte in 1650, with Katie and her gang on the opening day of the La Tania season.

Great big Katies Baps and Burgers down there, well worth a visit.

Took a while for Big Steve to work out how to send the photos……

The New Year crowds have arrived to sunny blues skies. Cannons on all night to add to the 90% excellent pistes.

Saturday Skiing Above 1850

Wide open slopes on probably the best beginner area in the world. . . .

Back to Sun but bitterly cold

Top of the Chanrossa chair which was closed first thing due to more high winds causing thin cover on exposed areas. Several “Few Snow” signs appearing on the affected areas but most major pistes still with excellent cover with the odd icy spots and some hard pack (fast) around. Looks like the high pressure won out and sun for the next few days. . . .
