Time to now enjoy some football – we’ve managed to get tickets sorted for games at the Maracan\u00e3 Stadium for Russia v Belgium and for France v Ecuador.<\/p>\n

Will be a strange atmosphere in Belo on our day trip on Tuesday – expect England fans will carry on with a big party and fantastic support at least at the start of the game – let’s see if players respond.<\/p>\n

If Hodgson makes too many changes and we win then no doubt he’ll be criticised for not using that team selection earlier – he can’t win. Ultimately we lost to 2 teams higher up in the rankings than us – by the same measure we should beat Costa Rica – we’ll see…….<\/p>\n

Anyway – Skylab restaurant view yesterday was pretty good and bars spilling in to the street as Rio did Friday night…<\/p>\n
