Best morning of the season so far.
Guests out of Chalet Juba by 08:30 determined to be on the first gondola although piped to the post by a few locals. Great first freshies down the La Tania stad (see photo), as good as it gets. www.nickskithreevalleys.co.uk
Toy Story on Christmas Day in La Tania
The Ellis, Parker and Hurring families doing Toy Story on Christmas morning outside the Ski Lodge. Top effort!
A proper Bluebird – blue skies and fresh powder
The best day of the season so far in prospect this morning. 20-30cm of fresh snow with more in gullies and drifts. Off piste avalanche risk remains at 3 out of 5 (considerable risk) with links to Meribel and the Col de la Loze area delayed opening this morning while avalanche control / safety work takes place, strong winds leaving unstable snow in places. Friday Video Report here
More snow expected over the weekend probably from Saturday evening in to Sunday.
A real Bluebird day – fresh snow and blue skies (or a Vera for the Old School, Mutzig Dave).
Fresh snow down to resort level at last!
All looking beautiful again this morning in La Tania. A White Christmas in the end…
Fresh Snow at the Bouc Blanc this morning
Good work by the Bouc Blanc staff in leaving their terrace set up last night – guaranteeing some snow as the days are getting longer and Summer approaches…
A nice little covering of snow at first light should freshen up the pistes before more snow coming in over Christmas Eve and looking more & more like a decent amount on Christmas Day – A White Christmas indeed looks on the cards after the much hyped snow last week failed to reach us.
Saturday Changeover Skiing – Love Ski
Hard pistes, snow cover still good, no one around plus 50cm forecast for Xmas day.
