The Bouc Blanc Terrace above La Tania all white once again this morning. Significant snow fall forecast for the next 24 hours with some rain at resort level at first before the temperature falls for the snow/rain level to drop below resort.
Temperatures overnight at last fell below freezing in La Tania with a low of -4C after the warm weather of the last few days. Currently -1C at 8am.

Nick Ski Snow Report 23rd December 2012

Last night about 7pm I cleared about 5cm of fresh snow from the decking which was well welcomed compared to the forecast of snow turning to rain. This morning clear skies and much warmer (2C in La Tania). Wet snow (or maybe rain) during night up to about 2300m but not much. The pistes groomed later in the night were fabulous eg. M, Suisses, Park City, Marmottes and Turks. Chanrossa open for the first time this season and very quiet early on as you can see from this picture of 1650 taken from Roc Mugnier chair of Pyramids drags and piste.
