Resort level temp dropping at last, rain turning to SNOW today down to 1100m
Posted on Fri 26 Feb 2010 at 7:38am
After several days of warmer temperatures with resort level even
staying above freezing overnight and plenty of rain about lower down
we should finally see the return of snow today down in La Tania.
Forecast is for snow down to 1100m throughout the day clearing on
Saturday. High Winds are also forecast for this afternoon so be careful if you’re skiing or boarding in another valley today. Could be some more rain at resort level Sunday and in to
Monday but then temperatures dropping down to some colder weather
through the end of next week. Is it really March next week?

Nick Ski Snow Report
Posted on Tue 23 Feb 2010 at 6:05pm
First tracks down Jean Blanc this morning with 3 – 4 inches of new snow followed by Combe de Pylon in heavy snow with no visibility but a wonderful ski. Clouds opened up about 11am and sun returned for a short period then a couple of hours of snow with rain in resort. Now dumping it down again and resort temperature around freezing.

More snow and more to come. Snow rain level rising later to 1600m
Posted on Tue 23 Feb 2010 at 8:18am
More fresh snow overnight down to resort level. The snow/rain level is
rising later so probable rain at resort level for a time. However more
snow forecast for tomorrow to hopefully lower levels, top conditions
still out there.
